Rainbow Therapeutic Riding Center provides equine assisted activities to a variety of students. This approach uses the horse to achieve individual goals. These goals can be physical, cognitive, social, educational, mental health, or behavioral related. Our programs are highly individualized and our instructors adapt lessons to meet the needs of the student.
Some riders want to improve mobility, others want to increase their ability to understand the world around them. The goals are as many and varied as the students who ride with us. We serve individuals with a wide range of physical and mental health issues, including:
- autism
- PTSD
- addiction
- severe mental health challenges
- victims of abuse
- youth at risk
- ADD/ADHD
- deafness
- traumatic brain injury, and more.
Your donation will help us to continue to provide services and fulfill our mission: to enhance the quality of life of people with disabilities through participation in equine assisted activities.
Here's the story of one of our amazing Rainbow riders, Mateo:
"As parents of a child who has been attending Rainbow Therapeutic Riding Center, we cannot express enough gratitude for the incredible impact it has had on our son.
Since starting his sessions here, our 6-year-old has not only fallen in love with the experience but has also shown remarkable progress and development. The smile on his face every week as he eagerly heads to Rainbow is truly priceless.
The dedicated staff and beautiful horses at Rainbow have created a nurturing environment where our son feels safe, supported, and empowered to overcome his challenges. We have witnessed firsthand the positive effects of equine therapy on his confidence, motor skills, and overall well-being.
Rainbow Therapeutic Riding Center has become an invaluable part of our son's journey, and we are forever grateful for the remarkable care and attention he receives there."
Thank You, Don and Carol Wright
