Helena Angel - Sophomore

Crew pushes me to try new things make new friends and overall become a better person. It makes me more competitive and compassionate, giving me something to work for. I love that I can look forward to practice and push myself when workouts are hard. The payoff it’s always worth it with crew, as winning fills me with so much joy. Connecting with people that share the same passion for crew is something that I am so grateful for. Although it is hard, getting better as one of the best parts of crew. I always push myself to a new goal, and once I make it past that goal, I find a new one.
