A $1000 prize will be awarded to 4 categories of nonprofits each Power Hour (Small, Medium, Large and X-large Organization Budgets)
ORG BUDGET SIZES
SMALL ORGS: operating budget under $50,000
MEDIUM ORGS: operating budget from $50,000 and under $250,000
LARGE ORGS: operating budget from $250,000 and under $1 Million
EXTRA-LARGE ORGS: operating budget of $1 Million +
Eligibility will be determined by Operating Budget as reported in the organization’s 2023 IRS Form 990, 990-EZ or 990-N
How It Works:
1️⃣ Secure a Matching Donor – Your nonprofit finds a business, foundation, or individual willing to match donations. (Qualifying matches must be over $250)
2️⃣ Rally Your Donors – Encourage supporters to give and reach the full match amount.
3️⃣ Unlock the Match – Once your donors meet the match goal, your matching donor contributes their pledge.
4️⃣ Win Even More! – NPCF will randomly select one completed match, and we’ll match up to $1,000 of that met match—tripling the impact! Example: Your donors meet a $500 match, your match gives $500 and we will also give $500!
More matches = more chances to win!
How It Works:
1️⃣ Partner with Businesses – Work with local businesses to create a Business Giving Page for Give Local Piedmont.
2️⃣ Engage Employees & Colleagues – Encourage business owners, employees, and customers to donate to your nonprofit through the page.
3️⃣ Raise the Most to Win! – The nonprofit whose linked businesses raise the most funds will win a $1000 prize from NPCF!
More businesses + more donors = a greater chance to win!

Power Hours and Golden Tickets are timed prizes.
Pre-scheduled donations only count for non-timed prizes.
Checks do not count toward any prizes because of the way the system records donations.
Each nonprofit may only win ONE prize (with the exception of pre-event prizes). If a higher value prize is won by the same nonprofit, the lower value will be forfeited to the next nonprofit in line for that prize.
Prizes are not final until all donations are in and reconciled by NPCF.
NOTE: THE LEADERBOARD IS NOT ABLE TO ACCOUNT FOR CORRECTIONS DURING THE EVENT
