Welcome to "We Plant Trees," a dynamic force for environmental change, fueled by the strength of community and the wonders of nature. Originally rooted in Fredericksburg, Virginia, our 501(c)3 charity, founded in June 2019 by the dynamic father-son duo Doug and Erik Davis, has expanded its reach to operate from The Plains, VA region and surrounding areas.

Our mission is crystal clear: combating rising carbon dioxide levels through strategic tree planting and supporting essential insect pollinators like honey bees. Our commitment lies in nurturing a healthier, more sustainable environment for the benefit of future generations.

Through a blend of education, community service, and collective effort, we aspire to spark a global movement toward a better world—one that confronts the alarming trends of global warming. Our vision extends beyond the present, aiming to weave sustainable environmental practices into the fabric of everyday life.

The benefits of our tree plantings are vast. Beyond creating sanctuaries of forest solitude and supporting diverse wildlife, they serve as a crucial defense against climate change. As these trees grow, they actively sequester carbon, standing as guardians reversing the tide of increasing CO₂ levels. Simultaneously, they evolve into vital carbon-fixing organisms, enriching the atmosphere with life-giving oxygen.

Crucially, our actions provide essential support to pollinators, ensuring the fertilization of plants that sustain us. Together with our communities, we are expanding the green canopy of our country, forging a sustainable path forward.

Our ultimate goal is to educate and empower through community service, advocating for the planting of as many trees as possible. Each tree symbolizes a beacon of hope, growing and sequestering carbon for the benefit of our planet. Together, we can create a better world—one where the air is cleaner, the environment is healthier, and future generations thrive.

To date, we've successfully planted over 45,000 trees through numerous projects, yet our hunger to plant more trees is insatiable. However, we are primarily funded through private donations like yours, and fiscal limitations often constrain us. Your generous donation is the key to unlocking the potential for even more trees, magnifying our impact and fortifying the carbon-fixing capabilities of our green allies.
