Orlean Volunteer Fire Dept Inc

A group of concerned citizens founded the Orlean Volunteer Fire Department in 1972 to improve fire response in this rural portion of Fauquier County, Virginia. Since then, members have continued to serve the community with pride and professionalism. 

Today, the Orlean Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department provides fire and rescue services to a 90 square-mile geographic area in Fauquier County. And, when needed, we support emergency response agencies throughout Fauquier, Culpeper and Rappahannock counties.

In the spirit of community service, our members volunteer their time and talents in responding to emergency calls as well as conducting many fundraising and community outreach events. Our breakfasts, dinners and other gatherings help bring our community together.

Upon completion of our new building on April 1, 2019, Fauquier County provided dedicated career fire and EMS staffing to better serve the community 24/7. Working as a team we stand together – volunteer and career, united to serve the community as never before.
