Our Mission
Community Support of the Piedmont is a nonprofit organization. Our mission is to connect people with medical supplies and equipment, and emotional support through volunteer services in our community.
In 2024, we served 1802 people in the Loan Closet, 767 donors, and 512 people with returns. We loaned out 2294 pieces of equipment and gave out 3587 incontinent, hygiene, wound care and nutritional products to those in need.
The Loan Closet is open Monday through Friday from 10am to 3pm for walk-ins and donations.
Our Vision
We envision a community where everyone who faces injury, illness, and death has access to medical supplies and emotional support to improve their quality of life. Founded in 1981, Community Support of the Piedmont previously known as Hospice Support of Fauquier County is a nonprofit, volunteer organization. Our services are not restricted by age, medical treatment, or finances. All of our services are free.
